Kelsey Howell
Co-Founder & InstructorKelsey is the co-founder of Paint & Fire and a lifelong creative with a deep love for ceramics. Her journey with pottery started early, one of her favorite jobs in high school was running a local pottery studio and that passion has stayed with her ever since. Before returning to the ceramics world full-time, Kelsey built a career in logistics at Amazon and later transitioned into tech product design while living in Seattle. That experience shaped her approach to building thoughtful, well-designed experiences—something she brings into the studio every day. In addition to Paint & Fire, Kelsey is involved in other pottery-focused ventures and enjoys creating practical solutions for potters and studios. She’s an avid learner who regularly takes workshops and studies with leading artists to continue refining her craft and evolving her style. Kelsey is also a mom of three and loves supporting her kids in their own creative journeys. Her goal is to make the studio a welcoming, inspiring space where people of all ages and skill levels can explore, learn, and enjoy the process of making.
